ACWA Water Law & Policy Scholarship

Criteria:

ACWA awards one $7000 scholarship each spring to qualified graduate students who are majoring in law, policy or public administration and have a focus or concentration in water resources. Qualified students are selected based not only on scholastic achievement, but also on the individual's commitment and motivation to his/her chosen vocation. In addition to funding from ACWA, funds are being raised throughout the water community. Applications must be postmarked no later than APRIL 1 of each year.

The applicants who will be considered for the scholarship must be attending a public or
private school located in the United States of America. They should have completed their
undergraduate work and at the time of the award be either part-time or full-time students
in their graduate studies. However, students must be carrying at least 8 units per term. They
also must plan to attend school for the complete academic year in which the scholarship is
awarded.
