Gardner Foundation Research GrantCriteria: Purpose To stimulate quality research in the specialty practice of infusion nursing. Eligible Candidates INS Members Selection Criteria Candidate must develop a clear and concise proposal that outlines the following: Purpose of Study An introductory statement that provides the rationale and significance for the proposed study and how the results impact infusion nursing. Statement of the Problem A description of the problem and identification of the environment in which the study will be carried out. Methodology Identification of the precise design and methodology required to successfully complete the proposed study. It should include: * Identification of population * Sample size * Clarity of procedures * Data collection * Data analysis Results and Conclusions It is an expectation of INS that the results of the study will be disseminated to the INS membership (INS meeting, Journal of Infusion Nursing, poster, abstract, etc.) Stipulations Before funds are disbursed, evidence of Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval must be submitted.
