According to a survey, only 30% of the students who have their names on the waiting list of a college eventually get admitted. However, there are ways in which you can get the admission in your favorite college quite easily. Follow the steps given in this article for admission to the college from the wait list. a) Having alternative colleges at hand: Do not commit the mistake of waiting for getting accepted in a particular college. Always have two or more options at hand because there is low acceptance rate from the waiting list.

e) Ask the college about the criteria it is looking for: While taking students from the waiting list, the colleges follow certain set rules. Some colleges take in only those students from the waiting list whose academic credentials match those who had taken admission initially.
