Cosmetology is n unique stream and if it is properly studied and applied, then it can really create magic. Cosmetology can actually take out the inherent beauty of a person conspicuous. It has a number of branches. Two most important of them are discussed below:

Manicure and Pedicure : Manicure is a sort of cosmetic beauty treatment in which filing, polishing and painting of fingernails are done with greatest care and attention. Pedicure applies to the feet. The process involves treating the hand with cream after washing it properly. There are various types of manicures. They include French Manicure and Asian Manicure. Manicure is an intricate work and needs expertise in the field. Without expertise, one may hurt the person who has come for manicure. Therefore, a proper training is required. In some cases, paraffin oils are given to hands and feet for softening the nails. This is due to the unique property of paraffin. It can be heated to a temperature of 100 degree without hurting the hands. The wax contains a number of vital ingredients like Aloe Vera, chamomile, tea tree oil and azulene. Hot oil pedicure and manicure is also available in the market. This works well for dry skin and leaves them soft and healthy.

Facial and Face Uplifting : It is a beauty care treatment in which the face is taken special care of. Facial includes a number of procedures like skin treatment in case of pimples and dark circle, steam, exfoliation, extraction of dirt and dust from the skin, masks, peel and massage. There are two types of facial, like European Facial and Mini Facial. A wide number of tools are used while doing facial. They include the facial plinth or bed, facial steamer, magnifying lamp, clean sheet, facial waters and cotton swabs. Towels, salon gowns and sponges and tissues are also used. After all these, an antiseptic cream is applied to the face so that any unknown cuts or bruises that may have happened during the process is healed.
