Before, there were not so many people that can go to have the benefit or would even think of having a doctorate degree. This was said to be an advantage for just the people who have the capacity to invest in it or have the mental capability who are gifted and be granted a scholarship. For those privileged, they go off to having good careers and were considered the cream of the crop in any society. Now a days, to have a masters degree or a doctorate degree is as common as having a common bachelors degree because there are so may universities that offer and can avail scholarships to students in different ways like working it off in the campus.
