How To Find Cheap College Textbooks

Apart from the exorbitant fees, many students find it expensive to buy some textbooks. Many of them would look for other sources and try to find ways to get cheaper textbooks.

Here are some ways to go about to get cheaper text books:

Scout around the school and check if there are some book sales. Some organizations or campus programs would hold book sales for second hand books from different students of different college degrees. Go to those book sales and check out the text book you need.

Ask upper classmen if you can borrow their books or buy their book at a cheaper price. If you are to borrow their book, make sure that you assure them that you will be giving them back the book at the end of the semester.

If the book cannot be bought and is rather expensive, opt to have it photocopied. It is might be cheaper to have the entire book photocopied and book bound.

Look for used bookstores. They might have a copy of the text book you need for the class.
Head to the library. You might be able to borrow the book there. If they do not allow you to check out the book, take the time to go to the library regularly to browse through the book and read the pages you need for class.

Lastly check out if a friend has the same class. Borrow the book from your friend when your friend is not using it. this way you can read the book for free.
