For those taking their bachelors degree and masters degree, they would always ask what country boasts of the best universities. According to http://www.topuniversities.com, Harvard still remains to be the top notch university in the world. In Asia, the best university turned out to be Kyoto University in Japan. The study done ranked the schools by the courses they offered, the employability rate, the facilities they have to offer, among other categories. The courses were then subdivided into the concentrations of the studies such as Humanities, Sciences among others. Harvard University ranked top one because they have good facilities, good degree programs and they are able to produce very competent and able graduates. But in my opinion, the best university would still be what is suited for your needs. According the survey, Harvard is the best university in the world. But not all might agree because they do not feel that they are compatible for the degree programs at that particular university. Furthermore each country has different cultures, which leads them to prioritize and exude certain values. These values are reflected in their universities. One country’s values might fit well with another individual’s beliefs while it might clash with another person. So it is best that you do not look for the country that has the best university, but rather the country that has your values and beliefs and from there look at the best university and see if they have what would fit your needs because each person is built differently.
